We’re delighted to share that Consultant Connect services can now be procured via two new Frameworks:
- G-Cloud 13 – Lot 2: Cloud Software
- Insourced Services to Support the Provision of Healthcare (including Clinical Insourcing)
What does this mean?
Getting on to these frameworks requires a lot of hard work. Approved suppliers are evaluated against rigorous criteria, meaning your procurement department has a more straightforward job when looking for a compliant procurement process with a reliable partner.
G-Cloud 13 – Lot 2: Cloud Software
All Consultant Connect services are IG-secure, GDPR compliant and available remotely/online. They can now be procured on G-Cloud 13, which presents a frictionless (and comparatively painless) route to market for NHS partners.
This framework provides flexibility and scalability, can be used to procure our:
- Enhanced Advice & Guidance (A&G) services (including Telephone A&G, Photo Messaging A&G, and Email A&G)
- National Consultant Network of out-of-area NHS consultants (to back up local specialties and/or provide A&G to unavailable specialties)
- Remote Referral Triage / Clinician Validation services (to reduce RTT waiting times and/or review and validate follow-up lists)
- Telemedicine Devices (to enable teams to deliver specialist patient care without having to be physically at the bedside)
- Patient Connect service (clinicians can easily set up and deliver telephone follow up consultations via Consultant Connect)
- Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) service (patients can initiate an IG secure virtual consultation with a specialist clinician)

Insourced Services to Support the Provision of Healthcare (including Clinical Insourcing)
All Consultant Connect services are IG-secure, GDPR compliant and available remotely/online. They can now be procured on NHS Workforce Alliance’s Insourced Services to Support the Provision of Healthcare Services. This framework offers a solution to secure extra clinical capacity and support and ensure patients can get the right care, faster.
This framework can be used to procure our:
- Enhanced Advice & Guidance (A&G) services (including Telephone A&G, Photo Messaging A&G, and Email A&G)
- National Consultant Network of out-of-area NHS consultants who can:
- answer pre-referral advice and guidance calls and/or;
- review photo and message advice and guidance requests and/or;
- support hospitals to reduce RTT waiting times and/or;
- support hospitals by clinically validating follow-up lists.
